June Updates From Gabrielle Faust

Carla Hall Presents Favorite Chef

Hello Everyone!

It's been a while since I last sent out a newsletter. Life has been pretty chaotic to say the least, but I do have a few updates to share.

You probably noticed the graphic at the top of this blog post? Well, if you didn't already know, because I'm crazy I decided to throw my proverbial hat back into the ring for the 2024 Carla Hall's Favorite Chef contest in an attempt to win $25K that will go toward my baking & catering business Ice Pick's Pies with hopes of obtaining my first food truck at the end of the year. I am currently at 7th PLACE in the TOP 15 in my group. It's FREE to vote and you can vote daily. Please take a moment if you don't mind and vote for me. It would mean the absolute world to me and help me get one step closer to achieving one of my lifetime dreams.

BLOOD GAMES: A VAMPIRE ANTHOLOGY continues to garner great press and readers have been super pleased with the collection. Thank you to everyone who has purchased a copy thus far. It is now available around the world in both paperback and ePub formats. And you can now purchase the book directly from our printer/distributor if you prefer, which actually benefits us authors even more! Fingers crossed we will be able to have a book release party in the fall/winter and of course I will be sending out information about that as soon as the details begin to come together...

As for Nightshade Publications, I'll be announcing a call for submissions for a new anthology later this summer. Still brainstorming a cool concept that will get authors excited about writing for it...

I am still working on HAUNTED: THE MISSING. This will probably be my longest novel to date when it is all said and done. It's been a very long emotional process, but I know that when the day comes when I can actually hold the printed book in my hands it will all have been worth it. It has definitely been a learning process and opened my eyes to a lot of things now that I've graduated to working with a big publisher. I will definitely be throwing a HUGE party once it's done. That's for certain. LOL!

That is all for now, I think. Thank you, as always, for all of your continued support of my work. I deeply appreciate it!
