Death By Festival will host a special fundraiser for victims of Hurricane Harvey called“Come and Give It”. 100% of the profits raised will be donated to The Red Cross. The event takes place in Austin, Texas on Halloween weekend, October 28, at The North Door, and features a stellar lineup of horror films and Texas metal bands including Shattered Sun, David Vincent of Morbid Angel/HeadCat, Dead Horse, Curse Mackey of My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Pigface, and Goatcraft.

The event will also screen brand new horror films, including the World Premiere of legendary Brazilian director Jose Mojica Marin’s new film, “Coffin Joe’s Heart of Darkness,” co-directed by Marcelo Colaiacovo and Nilson Primitivo. The event will also feature the Texas Premiere of the highly-anticipated new film in the American Guinea Pig Series, “The Song of Solomon,” directed by Stephen Biro and starring Jim VanBebber (Manson Family, Deadbeat at Dawn), Jessica Cameron (Truth and Dare, Scream Queen Stream) and Gene Palubicki of Angelcorpse.

Death By Festival is managed by Nic Brown and Susie Winfield, former co-producers of Philip H. Anselmo’s Housecore Horror Film Festival.

Shattered Sun - "We are excited and honored to be a part of the efforts to help our fellow Texans effected by Hurricane Harvey. We teamed up with everyone at "Death By Festival" to turn this into a giant Hurricane Relief Festival and are happy to contribute any way we can. Come catch us in Austin, TX October 28th and bang your heads for a good cause. See you in the pit!!!"

David Vincent - “Having personally traveled to Rockport over the Labor Day weekend and participating with relief efforts there, I’ve seen firsthand the devastation inflicted in that region by Hurricane Harvey. The ravage of the storm on the entire Gulf Coast of Texas is staggering, the word ‘catastrophic’ does not appropriately describe what has occurred. It’s important for all of us to step up to help the Harvey victims and one way to do that is by attending ‘Death By Festival’ which is donating 100% of its profits to disaster relief efforts. I’m honored to be a part of this event and invite everyone to join us in letting our fellow Texans know that we got you.”

Dead Horse - "As native Houstonians, Dead Horse and the Horsecore family want to personally encourage everyone that is able to attend this year’s Death By Festival in Austin, TX on October 28th to do so. We want to offer praise and gratitude to each and every person that has sacrificed, lent a hand, and given of themselves since Hurricane Harvey made it to the Gulf Coast. We are all on this Earth together, and the outpouring of love, generosity and kindness has recharged our faith in humanity, our nation and the spirit of Texas that shines upon us all. #HaveATexasHeart" Goatcraft - "The entertainment portion of Texas society comes together in times of dire need! The great state of Texas isn't merely great in its sheer size, but also it's great in terms of the depth of its macrocosmic heart! Cheers from the great state of Texas! See you at the festival!" Curse Mackey - "As a native Texan I am greatly concerned for my friends and family in Houston and the surrounding areas. I have donated my performance fee to help the Death By Festival producers as they seek to donate 100% of profits from this festival to Hurricane Harvey recovery. You can help too by attending Death By Festival and making your own donations." Tickets for the event are $30 for a music & film pass and $20 for a music-only pass, and are available here: --
