Kicking off the 2009 Eternal Vigilance Book Tour!
December 30th, 2008 by Gabrielle Faust received No Comments »Hello Everyone!
I hope everyone had a relaxing and peaceful holiday season. I just can’t get over the fact that another year has flown by and it is already almost New Year’s Eve! In a few hours it will be 2009…it just seems bizarre to say that. And that means that it’s time to kick off the 2009 Eternal Vigilance Book Tour! I already have about eleven events lined up for the new year including ones in Texas, California, Las Vegas and New Orleans, among others. No doubt, as we grow closer to the release of Eternal Vigilance: The Death of Illusions in March, the list of events will grow exponentially. But for now, there are a couple of signings coming up in January and February which I would like to give you the details on:

**Look for me in the Dealer’s Room & on various panels throughout the conference!
Please help me to spread the word about the above two events. There are also a few other tidbits of news I’d like to share with you all as well. The first is the launch of the Eternal Vigilance BlogTV channel! My friend and fellow Austin author Christine Rose got me hooked on this over Christmas so you can thank her for it.
Starting, hopefully, next weekend, I will be recording a series of live episodes from my webcam about upcoming EV news, general updates on my life, the book tour, etc. Christine and I will no doubt also be doing joint shows together as well here and there. Here is the link to the upcoming channel:

If you’re on BlogTV please subscribe to my channel so that you can be alerted to new shows airing and can join in on the live chat sessions. Another item you can now subscribe to is to follow me on Twitter. Yes, I am being sucked further and further into the internet domain and have now succumbed to the Twitter craze. My user name is VampireFaust. You’re just going to be sick of me at some point, aren’t you?
Have no fear, I will keep all of this interesting as I can. ![]()
The last bit of news is the development of the new Eternal Vigilance cologne line! Recently I began working with the wonderful owner of Lestat’s Dark Gift Shop in New Orleans on a line of perfumes and colognes based around the characters in the EV series. We are still in the developmental stage, but are getting close to finalizing at least one of the fragrances for release. The scents will be sold through Lestat’s Dark Gift Shop (www.lestatsdarkgiftshop.com) and via my own personal website. We are simply thrilled about this and hope you will find the fragrances as enticing as we do!
On last thing… Please don’t forget to vote for me in this year’s Rarest of Austin Poll! You don’t have to be from Austin to vote. Just enter your name and email address (all that is required) and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Best Local Writer category. Voting closes on January 20th! Just click the link below to take you to the page! Your support is appreciated beyond words!!

Well, that is all for now. Be sure to check the EV website regularly for updates on the new tour. I will be lining up a series of contests and giveaways in February and March to surround the new book release that I’m sure you’ll want to get in on. A little bribery never hurt, did it? ![]()
Happy New Years!!
Bites & Kisses,
Gabrielle S. Faust
