The other evening I was in a local pub waiting on a few friends to show up for a mutual friend’s birthday celebration. I am habitually too early on most occasions so I took a seat at the bar and pulled out some paper and a pen and began to make a list of all of the people and organizations I need to thank in the Acknowledgments section of the upcoming second installment of ETERNAL VIGILANCE. After a few minutes I sat back and stared at the paper, a profound sense of calm joy settling over me as I realized that I had just as many people to thank this time around as I did the first time. This is absolutely incredible and I feel so moved by the fact that I have continued to be surrounded by some of the most amazingly supportive people I have ever had the honor of meeting, some of them in person and some of them merely virtually. I do hope that when EV2 comes out that people will take the time to read the Acknowledgments page for it truly gives an insight into my world and the people who have pushed and prodded me with their loving, enthusiastic encouragement for the past year and half. When I have the few pages completed I will be posting the list here on the EV site, as well as my MySpace page, for all of the world to see.
