I read something rather disturbing tonight. Apparently, Tyra Banks is going to do a special on vampires this Friday, Halloween. This sent a cold chill of dread through me. Tyra Banks makes my skin crawl. She is so overly plastic in her approach to life and the media that it makes bile rise in the back of my throat at the mere thought of her show. And to think that she will be interviewing “vampires” on her show fills me with the deep irritation. I watched the show commercial just a moment ago and it only further annoyed me. It’s very hard for the mainstream world to wrap their minds about such a subculture and for a persona such as Tyra Banks to interview a few select individuals in such a hysterical (hysteria as in fear…not the comical meaning of the word) manner will only serve to further increase people’s innate paranoias and fears. Perhaps I’m being a bit paranoid myself? Watch the preview and tell me what you think…

I will be with my fellow vampires in New Orleans on Friday so I doubt I will be able to catch the show personally when it airs, so please watch it and let me know what you think. I plan on watching it on Hulu when I return. My curiosity is sickeningly overwhelming…or perhaps I shall not watch it out of fear that my paranoia will be justified. This shall be undecided for the night…
