I'm sure it's a wonderful con since I heard so much positive about it pre-event. I just had a bad experience personally. Actually, for next year, I already have booked about 10 cons over the course of 2009 so I'll be good and busy regardless of whether or not I return to FenCon. Thank you for the condolences. It has been a very trying past few months but I'm going to be optimistic that the year will end on a good note! ;) See you over at HWA! We had a blast and business was brisk on author row in the hall! I didn't think attendance was low...all of my panels were well attended and I saw a LOT of new faces that I haven't seen at any of the local cons before so that was a good sign that the FenCon people had done a great job blanketing the local area as well as out of towners. I hope you reconsider next year...if you do, be sure to get a table out in the author section, that's where the book sales are made :) My sympathies to you and your family about your aunt.
