Snuff Books’ first release “The Reaper” now available

They thought The Reaper was a mythical creature kept in the bowels of Hell.

They were wrong.

Maggie Wilson has an allure with things that go bump in the night, and on an excursion at a local hospital with a haunted history, she will learn that the dark side can be torture.

David, the only man Maggie has ever loved, is working through the cryptic puzzles and clues to gain answers. But the search for the truth can turn deadly in a fight with an entire race of Reapers.

Survival is the only thing on David’s mind.

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Snuff Books is pleased to announce the release of its first title, Joseph McGee’s “The Reaper,” available now through online retailers and select bookstores.

The first in a two-part collection, “The Reaper” features The Reaper: The Beginning and The Reaper: Dark Four novelettes, as well as three bonus short stories and an introduction from Shaun Jeffrey (author of “Voyeurs of Death” and “Evilution”).

Joseph McGee is the author of “Wake of the Night” and “Snow Hill,” and dozens of short stories. He is a Preditors & Editors award finalist and an active member of the Horror Writers Association. He lives in Massachusetts with his four rescued felines.

Snuff Books launched in July 2008. In addition to “The Reaper,” the company’s first anthology – “Raw: Brutality as Art” – will be released this fall, and Eric Enck’s “Blood, Blondes and Brunettes” is scheduled for a January 2009 release.
