New Song: “The Play”
July 20th, 2011 by Gabrielle Faust received No Comments »
In the midst of this very hectic week, I scored an hour the other day to record a new tune I’ve been working on this past month. This is still a “home recording” but the inclusion of a much better mic and a slightly better handle on laying down live tracks through Garage Band has improved the recording quality significantly over my previous attempts. One of these days I’ll be able to get into an actual studio to complete the full album professionally, but until that time, I can only share my music with you the best way I know how.
The new song is entitled “The Play”, written and performed by yours truly. It was inspired by the series “Slings & Arrows”, but is truly a tribute to any performer who has the courage to get up on the stage and perform for all the world to see. I hope you enjoy it. I’ve made the track downloadable, just incase it does catch your fancy. XOV””VOX

In other news, I’ve begun the process of sending out queries to agents in search of a new home for the REVENGE manuscript. To my delight I’ve had three agents, so far, request sample pages. Hopefully one of those will become enamored with the novel! It’s hard for me to rest until I know that REVENGE has found a new home, or at least someone who will fight as hard as I am to secure a new placement for it.
