A few exciting updates to fill everyone in on today. First of all, a podcast interview I recently did with The Genre Traveler will finally go live on March 28th so be sure to keep an eye out for that. I assure you it’s an entertaining interview! Follow the link below for more information.

Progress on the sequel to REGRET, entitled REVENGE, is definitely inching closer to the finish line. With my co-author Solomon Schneider out on the road as part of the “Sage on FIre” tour promoting his new album “Visceraline”, it’s been challenging to keep up the breakneck pace we had going back in December. However, I am happy to say that we are now 320 pages in and I will be beginning work on Chapter 18 (of an estimated 22 chapters) tomorrow! We’re hoping to be able to turn the manuscript over to Dark Regions Press at the end of April, or at least the vast majority of this beast, with the full manuscript completed by the end of May. If you haven’t already read REGRET, you’ll definitely want to pick up a copy, either paperback or in ebook format, so you have all of the back story on our main character Marcus. Links to purchase both versions are listed below. Thank you to everyone who has continually cheered us on through the writing process on this book, especially our Tweeple on Twitter who have been marvelously supportive and vocal about it! XOV””VOX to all of you!

I know many of you have been emailing me with questions on when the next ETERNAL VIGILANCE vampire novel will be coming out. I assure you, the book is in progress. However, the REVENGE manuscript had to take priority over EV4 simply due to deadlines. Also, at the moment, I do not yet have a publisher lined up for the fourth installment. So, after much consideration about my publishing options I have decided to perform a little publishing experiment. Since everyone is struggling financially these days and the idea of throwing down $20 for a paperback book might be a bit of an extravagance, not to mention I’d rather drive a hot poker through my eye at the moment rather than go through the manuscript submission process, I will be self-releasing the book in individual PDF chapters that will be purchasable and downloadable via the Store section of my website! Each chapter will be $0.99. A new chapter will be released every two weeks. For those of you who end up following it through to the end, and I must say you will if I have any say in it, I will be sending those customers a very special gift! I am intrigued about releasing the book this way because it will also allow me to interact with my loyal readers throughout the process and hear your feedback and suggestions. I’m truly excited and hope you are too! I’m also thrilled that my favorite editor Norm Rubenstein has signed on to edit each chapter! I’d love to hear what you think about this idea so do leave comments below! Be on the look out for more information about this upcoming release. I hope to begin posting the first chapters in a few weeks so there is not long for you to wait!
Last, but certainly, not least a music update. As of today I now have 10 songs completed that I am quite happy with! I’m hoping at some point this year to have the ability to professionally record them all. When Sol passes back through town in a couple of weeks on his tour, he and I will be recording an amped up metal version of my new vampire song “I Always Knew”, which was written especially for this year’s Theater of the Vampires ball in New Orleans! In the meantime I have been testing out these new songs at various open mics around town to get a reading and the general public reception of the material has been overwhelmingly positive! In fact, I was invited to be the “featured performer” at Kickbutt Coffee in Austin, Texas on April 10th! I will be performing a 30 minute set of my own material! Here are the details:
