A new melody…

I’m sure the powers that be would lecture me up one side and down the other for posting anything that is not “professionally mastered”, but, let’s face it, it could be several more months before I have access to proper recording equipment. That might miraculously change, but I’m a realist and realize what I may have to record my music with between now and then will be the lovely little digital handheld recorder I usually use to do interviews with celebrities at festivals and conventions. And patience has never been a virtue of mine. So, I decided tonight that the rough home recording I did of my new song “Onward” is just spiffy enough to post on ReverbNation. Background static and lack of recording depth abilities be damned, it’s music at its rawest. Lecture me, go ahead. At least I’m writing music again and it feels good! And I’m pretty darned pleased with this new tune. A merry little gig to possibly sing on New Year’s Eve, I think. I hope you enjoy it! Feel free to download it and spread it around if you feel so inclined. The lyrics are also posted in case you have trouble hearing all of the words due to the miraculously high quality recording.
