ApolloCon Report…
June 29th, 2008 by admin received No Comments »Hello Everyone!
It’s Sunday evening and I’m finally back home from my trip to Houston for ApolloCon 2008. Though things started out rather rocky on Friday when the scheduling for the dealer room/authors’ row was delayed by a few hours, overall, I have to say that it was a very successful con experience! Quite a few books sold and dozens of autographs were signed by your truly, something that I am still getting used to. Since I was stuck behind my table for the majority of the weekend I was not able to participate in any of the panels or other events, but from what I could see, people appeared to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. Perhaps the most interesting moment was meeting the owner of Serphemera Books who approached me, after reading Eternal Vigilance, and inquired as to whether I would be interested in doing a dramatic reading from EV before a Voltaire concert in September in Houston, Texas! I, of course, said I would be honored! Hopefully, if all works out, I should have more details soon! For now, it’s back to work for me. Illustrations, short stories, a few book and movie reviews are just the beginning of my work load for this coming week. All very exciting projects, to be sure! Thank you to everyone who came out this weekend to the ApolloCon convention in Houston! ![]()
