Eternal Vigilance in Romanian??
May 22nd, 2008 by Gabrielle Faust received No Comments »Well, I had a very exciting email nestle itself in my inbox today. It was from a foreign rights acquisitioner from a Romanian publisher called Milennium Press! They are interested in possibly slating ETERNAL VIGILANCE for translation next year! How exciting is this!! I pass the email along to my publisher since they are handling the foreign rights issues so I truly hope something comes of this! Apparently Millennium has acquired rights to THE VAMPIRE LESTAT, DUNE and other series so this would be quite an honor! Everyone keep their fingers crossed! ![]()
Today has been overall a much better day than yesterday (okay…it’s technically Thursday when I’m writing this, but I was referring to Wednesday being better than Tuesday. What can I say? The day/night yesterday/today issue is complicated when you’re nocturnal.). I had a very pleasant meeting with the manager of Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy about the signing on June 21st in Austin, Texas. Since the signing will also be on the FREE RPG gaming day and several big RPG vampire games are debuting that week, it sounds like the store is going to be flooded with people! So, mark you’re calendars!! While I was at DLair today I also ran into a very old friend of mine that I haven’t seen in about 4 years, my astronomy professor, Jim Heath, from college, which was absolutely heartwarming. He is one of those people who truly believed in me when I was a wild and crazy college student and his courses gave me such incredible inspiration that I continue to carry it with me to this very day. ![]()
Well, it’s 2:40am here…I suppose I should attempt to sleep. Well…maybe in an hour or so… Bites & Kisses!!
