Sam Worthington gets in touch with his inner Dracula

News of Sam Worthington’s acceptance of the role of the one and only “Dracula” in the Universal Pictures’ Alex Proyas directed Dracula: Year Zero has rippled across the internet since its announcement earlier this week. The Australian Worthington has been one hot commodity in Hollywood these days since his role in the skyrocketing successful James Cameron feature Avatar and the upcoming Clash of the Titans. According to Bloody-Disgusting the film “chronicles the epic origin of Dracula, weaving vampire mythology with the true history of Prince Vlad the Impaler. It depicts Dracula as a flawed hero in a tragic love story set in a dark age of magic and war, repositioning him more as a vengeful hero than the monster seen in Bram Stoker’s classic novel.” Read more on my Examiner column!
