Massify is partnering with After Dark Films to create “Ghosts in the Machine” – a revolutionary filmmaking competition that empowers the community to redefine the horror genre by developing and casting a feature-length film entirely online, which will debut in theaters during Horrorfest 2008. This is your chance to work with a professional team to produce a feature-length horror film. This is also an opportunity for actors to land a breakthrough role in a motion picture, in theaters during Horrorfest 2008.


During the first part of the competition, filmmakers and horror fans can “pitch” their vision for a next generation horror film, one of which will be selected by the Massify community to be produced into the final feature. During the second stage, users can audition for the opportunity to participate in a professional screen test and ultimately be chosen by the community for a lead role in the final feature.
