That is so cool that Ann Rice commented and that she was the 1st to comment. We should all be so lucky to get someone famous to read our blogs let alone comment on them. Good for you!

That is so oool that Anne Rice replied to you. I think it is great when authors take the time to read and lend comment to their fans. I am and avid Anne Rice fan. I must of read Interview with a Vampire a million times. You have a wonderful blog by the way. I found this post on blog catalog.

Cool.. it's always a delight to see when blogging allows us such positive, informative interactions. I have not been following the vampire books but this one sounds interesting - redemption is ALWAYS interesting since a part of us, on the surface or not, is always craving it.

From craving blood to craving redemption... neat!

Best to you all,
Sam

Thank you for taking the time and space to give me this break: One of the frustrations for any novelist is: we work like crazy on our complex books, and then the sound bites and brief quips push us and our work back into the shadows. Again, I'm grateful to you. More and more I use my website to clarify things, and judging from the flow of emails, it's been very rewarding. You were kind to do this. And let me say again, emails are flowing in for this Christian conclusion to Lestat's long saga. I'm a little amazed. And I'm leaning more and more towards doing it. ---- I found what Lestat was looking for. The light of Redemption. There is an aesthetic and moral continuity to revealing Lestat's discovery of the same light of Christ. I hinted at it in the last vampire novels, but never resolved the immense issue. Maybe now is the time. As we Christians say, I'll pray on it. Anne Rice, Rancho Mirage, California --- on a sunny Sunday out here in the desert.
