Registration for the 2008 48 Hour Filmmaking Frenzy horror competition Bloodshots will open in August. If you missed out on last year’s contest, the premise is to create a movie in the course of 48 hours over one weekend in September. Genres and a specific prop that must be used in each film is assigned previous to the designated filmmaking weekend. These details will also be revealed in August when registration begins. Initial screenings of the films are shown at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas in the weeks leading up to Fantastic Fest. Final judging is done by selected celebrity filmmakers and producers (as of not yet announced for this year). For more information visit the official Bloodshots website by CLICKING HERE. Best of luck to all of the 2008 contestants!
