Texas Frightmare Weekend proudly welcomes Rodrigo Gudiño to our guest list April 30-May 2, 2010 in Dallas. Rodrigo is founder and president of the Rue Morgue horror empire, which extends beyond its monthly magazine to its own film label, popular radio show, yearly “Festival of Fear” convention and monthly movie screenings. Additionally, Rue Morgue is co-presenting Texas Frightmare Weekend in association with Anchor Bay Entertainment.
Rodrigo is writer/director of Curious Stories, Crooked Symbols — featuring his award-winning shorts The Eyes of Edward James, The Demonology of Desire and The Facts In the Case of Mister Hollow. We’ll screen said shorts during the convention and Rodrigo will also be on hand to share the latest on his remake of the 1972 horror western Cut Throats Nine.
