When you’re immortal it would make sense that it would be in your best interest to make sure that the planet you’re living on will be around as long as you are. Beauty, strength and the power of seduction are all fine and dandy, but are rather worthless traits once the ozone layer is gone, it’s 135 degrees outside and all of the delectable prey you’ve been feasting on for the past few centuries have now either died or mutated into a less than savory snack.
