After the wretched failure of the sequel to the Lost Boys franchise, one would think that even the lowliest low-budget film house would shy away from attempting to resurrect the concept yet again. However, according to Corey Feldman, in an interview with Shock Till You Drop, he will be leaving for South Africa next week to work on Lost Boys 3: The Bite. “This is going to be a good one,” the actor said to STYD, “very big budget compared to the last one and the director’s great.” Feldman will also be taking on the position of executive producer for LB3.
Jamison Newlander is also slated to return to the cast. “I’m really excited,” adds Newlander. “Honestly, Feldman’s been a big advocate of bringing the Frog Brothers back together on the screen, and I think it’s going to be great. I think that’s what the fans wanted from the beginning was the two of us side by side.”
