Austin Film Festival Call for Submissions!
February 6th, 2008 by Gabrielle Faust received No Comments »The Austin Film Festival has announced Film, Screenplay & Teleplay submissions are now being accepted for the 2008 festival in Austin, Texas! To submit your film (narrative short, narrative student short, narrative feature, documentary short, documentary feature, or animated short) download the 2008 entry form.
Film Postmark Deadline: June 5, 2008 ($40)
Film Late Postmark Deadline: July, 5 2008 ($50)
To submit your screenplay and find out more about the screenplay and teleplay competitions click here! In the past 15 years AFF competition entrants have signed with Artisan, CAA, Brant Rose Agency, Metropolitan, William Morris, DreamWorks, Pixar, Miramax, and many other respected industry greats.
Screenplay First Deadline: May 15, 2008 ($40)
Screenplay Late Deadline: June 1, 2008 ($50)
Teleplay Final Deadline: June 1, 2008 ($35)
The Festival is among the select events accredited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, so all award winning narrative short and narrative student short films are also eligible for an Academy Award. The Austin Film Festival is dedicated to championing the work of aspiring and established filmmakers, defined as screenwriters, directors, editors, producers, actors and all artists who use the language of film to tell a story. The AFF furthers the art, craft and business of filmmaking by providing unique cultural events and services, enhancing public awareness and participation and encouraging dynamic and long-lasting community partnerships.
