I received fabulous news on Friday! The Chainsaw Mafia has hired me as their new Online PR Manager! I will be handling all social media networking, press release development, sales of ad space, etc. for the site. I am absolutely thrilled and honored to be joining this team of revolutionary, strong individuals who have done so much to carve a path for women in the boys club that is the horror genre! Currently, I am just beginning the process of getting up to speed on what the future marketing strategy will be for the rest of 2009 and 2010, but I can guarantee you that I am extremely motivated to take the site to the next stellar level of success. I have a very, very good feeling about this new career move; a blending of marketing and horror is what I call a “dream job” if there ever was one for me!
