Next Saturday, August 29th, from 8am to 10pm, the Austin, Texas bookstore Book People will be hosting a shopping day for the SCARE for a CURE charity organization, an annual haunted house event in Austin, Texas which raises money for various cancer charity organizations such as the Breast Cancer Resource Center. Book People will be donating 5% of all sales generated that day!


However, ONLY SALES THAT ACCOMPANY THIS FLYER will go to SCARE. In order to participated, download the flyer and present it to the cashier at the time of your purchase. 5% of that purchase will then go to SCARE. Purchases made without the flyer will not benefit the organization. Please download the flyer and email it to as many people as you like. Also on August 29th from 3 to 5pm I will be participating in a group reading/book signing at Book People along with authors Patrice Sarath, author of Gordath Wood, and Les McGehee, author of Plays Well With Others. We will each be reading from our current work and will be available afterward to sign copies purchased. Again, you will need to download the flyer and bring it with you that day for purchases to benefit SCARE. We will not have fliers on hand that day as part of the Book People policy.
