Batfest!, Will feature Arts, Crafts, Music, Food, Bat Watching, Children’s Activities, and Educational Displays. Estimated attendance is around 40,000! With Scenic backdrop of Town Lake and downtown Austin. Come out and see between 1.5 and 2 million Mexican Free Tail Bats while shopping for creative items made in Austin. See over 20 bands on two stages. Best of all, admission is only $7! What can you do for just $7 these days that includes so much and benefits Bats!
All professional Artists and Craftspeople are invited to participate in Batfest!… Approximately 150 Booths will be set up in the Festival Area located on the Ann Richards Congress Avenue Bridge in downtown Austin. The booths will feature Arts & Crafts such as pottery, jewelry, fine art, woodwork, stained glass, metal sculpture, mosaics, dicrylic, photography and much more.This area is well know for its eclectic night life (no joke intended) as well as it’s proximity to downtown and to the more relaxed South Austin (78704 to those who know).

1) All meters are free on the weekends
2) Bike Parking: We have Bicycle Rack on both ends of the bridge to secure your bike. We encourage you to ride your bikes to this event and be GREEN!
3) Ride the Bus! Capital Metro is a great cheap, green option to get to events and lowers traffic around.
