Writer/director, actor, stuntman legend, special effects guru, and production manager Gary Kent will be screening one of the many films he has worked on over his expansive career in indie film, Bubba Ho-Tep, on Sunday, July 26th, at Dan’s Silverleaf in Denton, Texas. The second stop on Kent’s 2009 tour celebrating the release of his autobiographical account of the rise of indie film, Shadows & Light: Journeys With Outlaws in Revolutionary Hollywood (Dalton Publishing, July 2009), the evening promises to be an entertaining and memorable tribute to Kent’s contribution to the film world.
