Last Wednesday, July 15th, stuntman legend/filmmaker Gary Kent celebrated the release of his long awaited autobiography Shadows & Light: Journeys with Outlaws in Revolutionary Hollywood. Accompanied by a sizable crowd that included such iconic figures of indie film as Bob Ivy, Bud Cardos and Austin’s own Lars Nielsen, Kent took the stage at Book People to read a few excerpts from his critically acclaimed book.
