Eerie Books in Wylie, Texas, will be hosting the inaugural smackdown between vampire authoress Gabrielle S. Faust and werewolf master Steven E. Wedel! The battle will begin at Noon on Saturday, July 18th, ending when the last werewolf or vampire leaves the store. A reading by each author will entertain attendees of this event, followed by an afternoon of book signing!

July 18th — Eerie Bookstore

Time: 12pm – 7pm

205 N. Ballard
Wylie, Tx 75098

The Vampire vs. Werewolf book signing series is the brainchild of werewolf author Steven E. Wedel and vampire author Gabrielle S. Faust. One of the main purposes behind the series of events, besides celebrating both genres, is to rally support for charities such as wolf rescue centers and bat conservation organizations, as well as various literacy programs around the world. In the months before each book signing event, raffle tickets will be sold through the official site for each team’s chosen cause. Prizes will vary from month to month and will include such items as free signed copies of the authors’ novels. All proceeds from the raffle sales will be sent to each charity at the time of the signing event. The hope is that the friendly, if feisty, competition between the two genre camps will work towards an overall increase in the encouragement of support for these organizations, as well as provide a vast amount of entertainment for our fans! A tally will be kept on this site after each event to see who has raised the most money: the vampires or the werewolves! The determination of the winner lies in the hands of the fans!
