Yes, you read that correctly! The lighthearted, fun-loving wooden puppet we all remember from our childhood has now been resurrected as a badass vampire slayer. The brainchild of artist Dustin Higgins, Pinocchio: Vampire Slayer is the story of Pinocchio’s desire for revenge after a pack of vampires slay his beloved Gepetto. Utilizing his ability to grow his nose into a deadly weapon with lies, the little wooden boy ends up being humanity’s last hope against enslavement. The Comic Book Resources website has an excellent interview up today with Van Jensen about the new series and where the idea originated from. Click here to read more!
