April and May are shaping up to be extremely busy months for yours truly! There are several events I would like to tell you about in particular.


Next weekend on Saturday, April 11 from 1:30 – 3:30pm, I will be signing copies of ETERNAL VIGILANCE, both books 1 & 2, at the Katy Bookstore. The Katy Bookstore is located at 2450 Fry Road. www.katybooks.com


On April 16th at 6pm the new writers group for published book authors, Austin Sala, will be hosting their inaugural group book reading at Cafe Caffeine (www.cafecaffeine.com)! This will be the first of a series of monthly readings from the group members and will feature seven authors of a variety of genres, each reading from their published works. The first group of authors are as follows:


• Gabrielle Faust – “Eternal Vigilance: The Death of Illusions”
• Gary Kent – “Shadows & Light”
• Jean Davison – “Mother of Fire”
• Rie Sheridan – “Take Out”
• Ann Cabot – “Choose to Move, Stories, Advice and Humor for Living Anywhere”
• Lester Morris – “Did You Knows? of England”
• Ethan Rose – “Rowan of the Wood”


Join the Austin Sala for an evening of fantastic literature, coffee and wine! All of the authors will also have copies of their books on hand for signing and purchase. Please help us to spread the word in order to make this, and future Austin Sala reading events, a true success!


I am currently also signed up to be a participating poet in the Austin International Poetry Festival from April 23 – 26. However, I am still waiting to hear back from them on my reading schedule so I do not have those dates at this time…


In May I have three events! First, I will be traveling back up to Dallas, TX for the Texas Frightmare Weekend on May 1-3 (www.texasfrightmareweekend.com)! As a guest of the conference this year, I will be appearing along with my fellow horror authors at the Horror Writers Association table in the conference Dealer’s Room throughout the weekend. This is one of the best horror conventions in the country so if you’re in the area that weekend you should definitely make plans to attend!


The next weekend, on May 9th, from 3 – 5 pm, I will be appearing at Book People in Austin, Texas (www.bookpeople.com)! Last year the signing event hosted by Book People for the first EV novel was a tremendous success so I am truly looking forward to this next signing! Wine, beer and tastey morsels will be provided for attendees and the dark electronica music of Lost Cat Magnet will open before my reading and signing. It will surely be a fabulous afternoon!


Finally, on May 16th, I will be appearing from 1 – 4 pm at Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy (www.dlair.net) in Austin, TX. Again, last year’s event was a smashing success so I am eager to return for this second novel. If you’re into comics and gaming, Dragon’s Lair is a fantastic shop and one which I have been patroning since I was 13 so you know it has to be good!


I hope you can make it to one of these events in April and May, but if not, the rest of the year is now full of ETERNAL VIGILANCE signing events!
