Message from Immanion Press:
The Immanion Press crew had a good time at the British Fantasy Society’s annual convention, Fantasycon, last weekend, held at the Britannia Hotel in Nottingham, England. We launched four fiction titles at the event. First off was ‘The Fourth Cleansing’, Fiona McGavin’s concluding novel in her sumptuous trilogy, ‘A Dream and a Lie’. We were also proud to republish, after many years of being out of print, Ian Watson’s much praised sf novel, ‘The Garden of Delights’, complete with a new introduction from the author. ‘Digging Up Donald’ by Steven Pirie, a quirky comedy horror novel, and ‘Oliphan Oracus’ by Neil Robinson, a vivid and original take on time travel, were published for the first time as paperbacks.
Several of our authors were able to make the event, some of whom took part in panels and readings to promote their books. Among these were Storm Constantine (author of the Wraeththu series and the Grigori books), Kim Lakin-Smith (author of ‘Tourniquet’), Fiona Mcgavin, Steven Pirie, Ian Watson, Freda Warrington (whose original trilogy, the Blackbird series, has been republished through Immanion Press) and Phil Emery, author of ‘Necromantra’. Also present was one of our designers, Andy Bigwood, cover artist Vincent Chong, editor Donna Scott and publicity officer, Kayte Redding. We have also just published through our non fiction imprint Megalithica Books a new edition of ‘Gathering the Magic: Esoteric Groups for the 21st Century’ by Nick Farrell.
All of the titles mentioned in this report are available through our web site: http://www.immanion-press.com.
