January 28th, 2009 by Gabrielle Faust received No Comments »
For the second year in a row, the father and son team of Carlos and Chris are putting on a punk rock benefit show in Azusa, CA with all proceeds going to the Mariposa Foundation (http://www.mariposasfoundation.org), which helps children with devastating diseases and their families.
The benefit show will be March 15th at the D Club in Azusa, CA. So far 11 Horror bands are playing including The Order of the Fly, Back to Zero, Murderland, Bitchfits, The Rhythm Coffin, Scurvy Kids and more. Besides the bands playing there will be silent auctions and raffles. This is the second Punk Rock Benefit show that has been put together and last year’s event raised over $4,000 with even a member of Marilyn Manson showed up!
Right now they are looking for donations and since this is such a horror-themed event all donations would be going to the proper crowd! Anything that can be donated helps and of course, if you are in the area, come hang out at the show!
