According to The Hollywood Reporter, Garrett Hedlund (Troy,Four Brothers, Eragon) is set to star in the Tron sequel for Walt Disney Pictures. Yes, that’s right, they’re making a sequel to Tron. However, instead of going with Tron 2 or Tr2n as originally considered, they have opted to simply call it Tron…again. The 1982 cult classic by the same will be directed by Joseph Kosinski. Hedlund will play the lead, a man who finds himself pulled into the world of a computer and retracing the steps of a character from the original movie named Kevin Flynn. Also recently cast fo Jeff Bridges as “Flynn”, Olivia Wilde and Beau Garrett. The film is set to begin shooting in the spring of ’09.
